Our student ministry has been orange for a couple of years now. When we changed our ministry, we also changed to a team leadership approach. This makes it so that there is less of an impact when a leader steps down .. which happened this week.
Over the past few months, our attendance numbers have dropped for both students and adult leaders. We meet on Sunday nights and I feel that there's a "disconnect" between our main congregation and what's going on in our youth group.
I know it's not all about the numbers, but I would like to explore ways to make our congregation aware of what's going on and let the "non-attending" teenagers want to check it out.
