About Colonial Church:
Our mission is to lead a generation of people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating relevant environments that connect people to God and to each other. Colonial’s senior pastor, Terry Chapman guides a team that is committed to creating relevant environments.
Environments at Colonial are designed with people outside the church in mind. Everything from weekend services, to family ministry, to group environments are designed to be relevant environments that bring people to connect with God, engage in community and make an impact with the world.
Children’s ministry and student ministry are designed to partner with parents to produce a true family ministry approach to reaching kids and their parents.
Family Ministry at Colonial is designed in the Orange Model (www.orangerleaders.org). Orange ministry is based on the idea that orange is produced through the combination of two colors that have a greater impact together than on their own. Red, representing the heart of family, and yellow, representing the light of the church, combine to make a more vibrant powerful color Orange. Orange ministry synchronizes the efforts of church leaders and parents around a master plan to help build faith and character in their children.
