   When I was at the Orange Tour Dallas 2008, I remember Reggie talking about how the 252 Basics curriculum is on the same schedule as the Chick-fil-a Core Essentials curriculum used in public schools. He said that there were some churches that had done a family experience in the public schools that used Core Essentials to promote strengthening families. I'm interested in doing this. Have any of you done a Family Experience in the Public Schools before or know of anyone else who has? I'd like to see how they did it.

   Thanks for the post. My name is Tim Walker and I work both on the Core Essentials program and XP3. Regarding the Family Experience in public schools, we do not provide a script for people to use in those settings, however we do have one church in Kokomo, Indiana that has taken the scripts, edited them for use in public school, and is having amazing success in their school system. The person coordinating that in Kokomo is Sarah Montgomery and her email is sarah@oakbrookchurch.com.

   The Core Essentials character education program is available as a downloadable program. The featured values do align with the 252 values, but from a different approach. If you like what you see, you may want to consider rallying some of the business owners in your congregation and/ or parents to fund the program for a local school.
